Depending upon the status of agency, following procedure is to be adopted for registration of any agency.
- Individual Proprietorship. Presently this type of establishment is not required to be registered with Registrar of Companies (ROC) for running proprietorship agencies sponsored by DGR. However they are required to follow laws of the land as amended from time to time.
- Private Limited Company. A private limited company is required to be registered under the Company Act 1956 as amended from time to time with the Registrar of Companies. Following procedure is followed for registration of a Private Limited Company.
- Approval from DGR for a name for the company. (At least three suggested names are to be given.
- Form No 1A (Application form for availability of Name). This form can be obtained from Kalka Stationers, 67A, Sahyog Building, 58, Nehru Place, New Delhi-110019. A Private Limited Company is required to submit this through a CA or Company Secretary who is given power of attorney.
- Form No 32. This form is filled once ROC gives availability of names in response to Form No 1A submitted by the applicant. On this form particulars of Directors of the company and a lawyer are submitted to the Registrar of Companies. The same form is also used whenever there is a change in the Company’s Directors. However in the DGR scheme the change of Director(s) is not permissible under any circumstance.

Once availability of name of the company has been received from ROC, following documents are required to be submitted to ROC for registration of the company: -
- Bank Draft/Pay Order in favour of respective ROC for the amount specified.
- Memorandum & Article of Association in Duplicate.
- Form No. 32 in duplicate.
- Power of Attorney in favour of a Company Secretary/CA.
- Original letter of approval of name.

Once above mentioned documents are accepted by ROC, a ‘certificate of incorporation’ is issued by ROC duly registering the company. |
