Security Agency Guidelines:
QUOTA OF GUARDS
Para 21. The ceiling limit of allocation of guards including armed / horse mounted / canine to Security Agencies is as follows: -
  1. Individual Proprietary concern - 300 guards cumulatively in a four year period. This aspect is explained with an example. Suppose a security agency has deployed 50 security guards for two years, then the number of guards cumulatively deployed is counted as 100. If the agency gets another contract of 25 guards, then the number of guards deployed by the agency in the year becomes 75 and the cumulative total number of guards deployed becomes 150 (75 x 2). If the agency gets responsored for two more years at both these places, then another 150 guards get added on to the cumulative total and thus the cumulative total becomes 300 guards. This way the quota of 300 guards entitled to the agency also gets achieved.
  2. Pvt Ltd Companies - @ 300 guards per officer director in the manner as explained above. That is to say that if there are two directors in the company, the quota of guards for that company is 600.
  3. Horse Mounted / Canine - As per requirement
