This scheme is open only for JCO’s and OR (NK to Sub Maj or equivalent).

How can one apply?
An applicant must apply to DGR after retirement. Forms are issued and collected same day. ESM are required to enclose two photographs and a photocopy of their discharge books.

Till what time can an ESM apply under this scheme?
Ex – Servicemen can apply with in 10 years of retirement.

What is the waiting time for allotment of Milk Shops?
Milk Shops are allotted as per the choice of area indicated by an Ex-Servicemen at the time of selection and waiting period is different for different areas. Generally waiting period is presently 12 months.

What is security deposit?
Security deposit is Rs 40,000.

Do we get interest for deposit?
Yes interest is paid for the security deposit.

Does an ESM get the security back?
Yes, Security is refunded on termination of contract.

Contract is for how much period?
Initially contract is for one year and renewed every year thereafter subject to performance of Ex-Serviceman.

Can ladies also allotted DMS Milk Shops?
No. Ladies are not allotted DMS Milk Shops.
