This scheme is open only for JCO’s and Ors (Sepoy to Sub Maj or equivalent).

How can one apply?
An applicant must apply to DGR after retirement. Forms are issued and collected same day. ESM are required to enclose two photographs and a photocopy of their discharge book, photo copy of PPO, Photo copy of ESM / Widows identity card.

Till what time can an ESM apply under this scheme?
Ex-Servicemen up to 50 years of age can apply with in six years of retirement.

What is the waiting time for allotment of Milk Shops?
Milk Shops are allotted as per the choice of Zone indicated by Ex-Servicemen at the time of selection and waiting period different from zone to zone generally waiting period is less then 12 months except west and Gurgaon.

What is security deposit?
Security deposit is Rs 1,00,000.

Do we get interest for the deposit?
Yes interest is paid for the security deposit.

Do we get the security back?
Yes, Security is refunded on termination of contract.

Can Ladies be allotted Mother Dairy Booth?
No. Ladies are not allotted Mother Diary Shops.

What is the period of Contract?
Initially contract is for one year. It is renewed every year thereafter subject to performance of Ex-Servicemen and up to maximum age of 62 years.
