Why loans are not granted for transportation ventures?
Loans are not being granted for transport ventures under Semfex Scheme because of non – clearance of dues and outstanding loans against the ESM as per government orders. Further, loans for transportation venture are available through Nationalized Banks, financial institutions and finance & leasing companies.

How can one apply for assistances under the Scheme?
An E - Serviceman has to apply for Semfex –I scheme through ZSB/RSB to Nationalized Bank/State Financial Corporations.

Who gives the loans/funds?
Loans / Funds for starting self employment ventures are disbursed by banks, financial institutions and State Financial Corporations.

Does DGR disburse funds / loans?
No, DGR does not disburse any funds / loans. DGR only provides information and advice to ESM to obtain loans to start Self Employment ventures.
