MANAGEMENT OF CNG STATION IN DELHI ON COCO BASIS
1. The Scheme for management of CNG stations belonging to Indraprastha Gas Ltd was launched as a pilot project in July 2001. The CNG outlets are operated on ‘Company Owned Company Operated (COCO)' basis. On success of the pilot project, the scheme has been extended to retired Defence officers. As on date, there are 70 retired officers managing 70 CNG stations. This scheme is presently available in Delhi only.
2. Eligibility
a. Officers upto rank of Colonel/equivalent.
b.

Should be registered with DGR.

c. Age should be below 57 years.
d.

Should be resident of Delhi only.

e. Bank Security upto Rs 2.00 Lakhs.
2. Terms of Assistance
a.

Officer to apply through DGR.

b.

On vacancy, officer will be called for interview to IGL mail officer.

c.

On selection, officer is required to arrange bank security and working capital as stated above.

d.

The appointment is on fixed remuneration basis.

e.

The officer is required to employ staff at the CNG station for work under Company Act.

f.

The term of engagement is initially for one year, which can be extendable to another year depending upon the satisfactory performance.
