Stipend @ Rs. 250/- p.m. to ex-Servicemen trainees in ITIs. |

5 percent reservation in Industrial plots/sheds. |

Annuity Grant to Award Winners have been doubled (Authority : Govt. Order No. Home-500 of 2001 dated 19-11-2001. (Appendix ‘E’) |

Seats are reserved for children of serving/retired Defence Personnel in Technical/Professional colleges in the State. 3 percent reservation each in MBBS, Engg, Polytechnic & ITI and Nursing training. |

Relaxation of educational qualifications to the ex-Servicemen for appointment in Group ‘C’ and ‘D’ posts Matric pass for Post ‘C’ and Middle pass for post ‘D’. |

Exemption from Sales Tax in CSD (1) canteens for ex-Servicemen. |

The Govt of J & K, Home Deptt has granted Militia Relief in respect of those ex-J&K Militia personnel who had rendered less than 15 years of service, relief shall be payable as per following formula -
"Rs. 50/- p.m. for each completed year of service subject to a maximum of Rx. 500/- p.m."

The wives of Defence service personnel who is serving in civil services may be allowed extra ordinary leave upto six months during the period their husbands remain posted stations. |

Reservation for ex-Servicemen in Civil Job. State Government has approved 6% horizontal reservation for ex-Servicemen. The SRO is under publication. |
